The building is designed as a recreational facility, in the Hvozdnica municipality. The protection zones of the III. class road and the lake determine the building location on the plot, i.e. 10 m from its boundary by the lake shore and the axis of the road.
The main motive of the house design was empathy for nature and the sensitive embedding of the mass into the environment in the form of a partially underground structure. The gently sloping site of the surrounding terrain with meadow vegetation seamlessly transitions to the roof of the house in the form of intensive and extensive green roofs, creating a "green bridge". The main south façade of the house opens to the lake, which is also the access side.
The chalet layout is functionally divided and clear. It is designed to minimize the areas for corridors, with interesting vistas between the interior and exterior. The dominant feature is the view of the lake. There are three rooms - two bedrooms and one living room oriented to the south side.
The kitchen is designed at the rear of the layout and its lighting is also provided by a roof light guide above the kitchen island. The recreational terrace in front of one of the living rooms is foldable and can be complemented by a simple pergola frame structure. The social and utility rooms are below the sloping hillside.
The building is designed with a longitudinal support system as a three-tract, mainly as a reinforced concrete monolith. The advantages of the structural solution include the rear underground part of reinforced concrete load-bearing walls and intensive greenery on the roof. The front part can also be built with a lightweight load-bearing wall structure, based on the choice of material, and with lightweight extensive greenery on the roof plane. The windows and window surfaces are aluminium, openable with a sliding-lift system. The side façades of the building are designed in exposed concrete and complemented by a ventilated façade with a Siberian larch finish.
