By applying the new spatial plan, the fundamental deficiency of the original swimming pool is eliminated - the lack of connection (not only) between the pool area and the outdoor recreational space, which is a key presumption for year-round public use of the swimming pool. The main advantage of the sports pool is a new design with its economically and environmentally acceptable feasibility at ground level, together with a recreational roof seamlessly integrated in height to the level of the updated pool design with amenities - relaxation area, water slide, wellness facilities, and autonomous events on the terrace.
